I began my photography career as a photojournalist for Roll Call, the newspaper of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. For 10 years I aimed my camera at Members of Congress, covering everything from the news, hearings, portraits, campaigns and the unfolding of scandals, to the sometimes lighter and more quirky side of these elected officials. I have had images published in the New York Times, Time, Rolling Stone, and also displayed in the National Archives. These 10 years of photos are now housed at the Library of Congress.
I especially love creating black and white portraits.
I'd love to discuss taking portraits of you, photographing an event, etc.... Please call, text or email me!
